Burberry Dark Spice Dramatic FOTD

It's been storming up here, so what better inspiration to create another Burberry eye quad face of the day.  For this look, I started with my version of a daytime look using the Dark Spice quad.  I then layered the coppery shade over my entire lid with a fluffy MAC 217 brush until just under my brow bone to recreate the smokey Burberry look.  Using a MAC 252 brush, I patted on the shimmery dark brown shade from my lash line up until just above the crease and used the 217 brush to blend out any harsh edges.

I like to use sponge-tipped applicators with Burberry shadows, but that's just my preference. Using a sponge-tip, I lined my lower lash line with the coppery color to just before my tear duct to give me a thicker than usual line.  Using the same applicator, I applied the dark brown color to the outer 2/3 of my lower lash line for a gradient effect.  With a pencil brush, I used the black shadow to line my upper lash line, then went over that with the dark brown color to blend into an ombre effect.  I applied two coats of mascara to my upper and lower lashes.  Finally, I took a q-tip and dipped it in a matte vanilla color then stamped it into my tear duct.   Of course, I finished off with concealer to make my smokey eyes pop.
